PITCHES & POD

PITCHES FOR MOTOR HOMES, CARAVANS, CAMPERVANS OR TENTS

Choose electric hookup (10amp) and water at the pitch. Our pitch size varies, we have 10M x 8M as standard and up to 15Mx 15M.

Level and flat

Hardstanding/grass & full grass pitches

Wash up area, a fridge freezer and washer dryer.

Toilet and showers in two areas are just a short walk from any pitch.

Our Pitches

Main field

Pitches 6 &7 are hardstanding with grass, around 10m x 10m total. They have 10amp electric & water.

Pitches 2 & 3 & 4 are against the hedge with a tree to the front of pitch. Approx. 10m x 10m with 10amp & water. Ideal for caravans or motorhomes Pitch 3 also has some hard standing tracks

Pitches 8 is a large grass pitch with EHU and water. Big enough for two units - suppliment for the second.

Pitch , 16, 17,18 & 19 are good size at least 10m x 10m with some small shrubs at their rear. 10amp & water.

Pitch 10 is next to our glamping pod and although still around 10m x 12m it does have two trees - great for shade in the summer. Ehu & water

Pitches 11, 12 & 12A back onto a tree line at the rear of the field . All large at least 10m x 12m. 10amp & water. Often booked together with friends.

Pitches 20 , 21 & 22 have 10amp and are 10m deep x around 13m wide

Pitches 24, 25 & 26 are good size pitches approx. 8m x 12m longer rather than square. Popular with families who want to be close to the play area and/ or toilet facilies 25 and 26 both have hard standing tracks

Pitch 14 is non electric shared by cyclists/walkers

Sunset field

Here you have space to pitch as you wish.

Pitches 31 - 41 Extra large pitches with 10amp electric and water

Pitches 42 -45 Are non electric with plenty of space. They are peaceful but furthest from the facilities.

Non electric group field - suitable for up to 4 units. Booking and cost by email or phone only.

The Sunset field is available to hire out in its entirety. But book early!

Toilets and showers are located in several locations and in several formats which you can choose from to suit your needs.

PLEASE NOTE - we are rustic and basic but we are clean and have plenty of hot water!

The site can accomodate most vehicles but if you have a long wheel base or large RV please call in advance . And check our advise on the welcome email for the best approach.

Single cyclist, motorcyclist or walker? We have pitches for you too - now available online - at just £10 pn.

GROUP CAMPING

Chose one of our fields and hire it for your group.

Completely for your own use. *

Use of between 10 and 35 pitches most with EHU and many with water.

Our Sunset Field has plenty of space with free form pitches and a campfire area.

Our Church View Field has a small undercover area included with fridge freezer and the ability to create a bar/food service area.

Indoor facilities are also available to hire including a studio.

Ideal for clubs who want to run a course along side a camp.

*Our basic consideration rules apply such as no music or loud chat after 10.30pm and you will share the shower toilet area with other campers unless booking the whole site.

POD

The luxury home from home pod was new for 2021.

Sleeping up to a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults & 3 children with one double bed, a single bunk over and a double sofa bed too.

Microwave, fridge and sink in the kitchen plus a tv.

Toilet and shower facilities in the main shared block

Bring your own bedding. Dog friendly - 1 well behaved dog allowed.

Please note - water will be off during the coldest parts of winter. We will provide water in a container but no hot running water within the pod.

What a lovely peaceful site. We stayed here for a couple of nights to have some rest & relaxation from our normal busy lives and that was exactly what we got. The site is small, so is quiet and friendly. The facilities are spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate. Great little open clubhouse with plenty of hot water for washing up, a fridge and freezer. There are pubs which serve food within walking distance and Bury St Edmunds is a 10 minute drive away - a lovely town very well worth a visit. - (Mature Couple)
