The Village Pubs
The Three Horseshoes Great food at a great price too.  Beer garden and dog friendly. This pub is less than half a mile from the campsite, easily walkable in about 10 minutes, just take a torch at night for the return journey.   Opening hours can vary from season to season so always best to book. Call 01284 811467 or find them on Facebook.  Ant and his team will give you a warm welcome.  Mid week specials for seniors.   Note usually not serving food on Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesdays. 
The Weeping Willow is in the heart of the village and you will be best to book for a meal here although casual eating is usually available.  A 16th century pub restored to modern decadance with a lovely garden to sit in the summer and sample the variety of gins available!  They are also dog friendly.  www.theweepingwillow.co.uk

Farm Shops and Convenience Stores
In the centre of the village you will find two convenience stores where you will find almost anything.  The closest supermarkets are in Bury St Edmunds, Tesco at junction 43 and Sainsburys at junction 44 of the A14.    Looking for a farm shop and local butchers for BBQ meat? Mini Golf

Archery
Barrow Archery Club is on site and Patrick is often available to offer taster sessions.  To be sure of a booking give him a call in advance on 07712 277625   1 hour Sessions now just £15 for campers
